Quilt for a struggling young gentleman

I met this young man a couple of months ago who has had nothing but struggles all of his short life just to stay alive. His sweet parents take such wonderful care of him. Though he's very fragile, is constantly having to have surgeries, and can't do what most other kids his age do, he never complains. He dearly loves his chickens, so I thought this quilt might work for him. It still need to quilt and bind it. I loved working on it because it made me so grateful for what I can still do. He's an inspiration.

Oh, how cute! My mom would love that! She is such a chicken person. When she moved from one house to her last one, she made my dad look all over a find more of this crazy chicken wallpaper she had in the kitchen so she could put it up in her house. (And that was before the internet!) I'm betting this young man will love it! It just makes you smile to look at it!
