The weather went from high 90’s to high 70’s in two days πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ. Seems to be barometer changes that really effects me, went from 70’s to high 30’s. Every year it seems to set me off, dizzy 😡 fog brain 🧠. Does the weather change effect any body else πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈπŸ‘πŸ™πŸΎKen PS the smoke has cleared for now πŸ‘

Hi Kenu ... I'm not sensitive to the weather changes itself just the extremes in temperature. The heat is terrible for me and in the last few years I've been affected by the low cold temps but not in the same way heat bothers me. Its cooled off here too but it feels great! Now...if only that pesky wildfire smoke would leave!!

The heat hits me hard. I like the weather that's between 65-87 degrees outside. 😊❀🌷

The heat, especially humidity like we have right now, really gets me. Cold didn't use to get me but in more recent years it has gotten to me too but not as bad as the heat. Today it is 89 but feels like 96 because of the humidity. I do good in temps 75 - 80 with no humidity.

I totally agree with you! If you find a place with weather that meets your criteria can I move there too ?

Seriously this summer has pretty much put me in hybernation waiting for winter.

Take Care of You :)

I’ve also been in hibernation this summer. Every year, the heat seems to bother me more. (Or it’s because I’m a year older?)

I think the temps are getting hotter each year :(

The temperature change doesn't effect me just when it is really hot and humid or very cold. I weill be sending the next few days inside!

Yes, weather changes, especially sudden ones, affect my balance and stiffness quite a bit.

I'm so glad the smoke has cleared up a bit where you are. Oxygen sure is nice.

Thanks, People don’t realize that it is extra work to breath with the smoke πŸ’¨, takes couple days to regroup along with big temp changes 🐾Ken

The cold sets my ms off in my head. I now have to keep my neck warm, the wind really triggers it off. Direct dry heat is good, but humidity spoils it. So pleased that the smoke has cleared, fresh air . Blessings Jimeka πŸ¦‹ πŸ™

I have to say I’m affiliated by the humidity and the sun. Spring I guess is going to be my favorite season. I hope you can get relief with the weather. MS seems to take so much from all of us but we are not giving in. πŸ‘

I'm an old timer, diagnosed 27 years ago. I find that when the barometric pressure changes it increases my spasticity related pain and just turns my entire system "upside down". It's like I can go from feeling OK, able to do active "stuff" for a couple hrs a day to feeling blah and ending up doing almost nothing for a day or two. You can confirm this by taking an airline flight, it always upsets my system for the flight and about 24 hrs after going through multiple barometric pressure swings.

Ugh yes..humidity coupled with the heat in the 90s is the enemy! I feel good one day & then down the next! Winter not so bad yet...I live in NC so Fall & winter I can manage. Just no hurricanes please!

Glad to know smoke has cleared for you too! Stay strong everyone & one day at a time:)

Yes! I lived in the Austin, TX area for 8 years and I remember one Thanksgiving it was in the 80’s and humid and within a couple of hours the temp dropped 30Β°. Not only did the heat and especially the heat combined with high humidity adversely affect me but made my life there hell. I’m originally from SFO and a muggy day would translate into β€˜earthquake weather’. Those days would be called a pleasant fall day in Central TX. I would get cramps in my legs just from walking in the parking lot from my car to the grocery store in the summer. After I was Dxed in TX I would get terrible headaches at times crossing into migraines from the high humidity. Now I live back on the West Coast in the PDX area and when I get a headache it’s from the much lower humidity levels here but I nonetheless have grown a sensitivity to it. The smoke has been gone for the past 4 days but it is expected to heat up into the 80’s today. I’m sure that we still need to take precautions with the smoke since the fires are still burning just the wind has shifted the smoke to clear it out for now. At 80Β° is where the coping with MS mechanism kicks in - meaning ac gets turned on. 😎

High humidity plus high temperature are debilitating for me. Humidity is a more of a formidable enemy than temperature. I stay near A/C all summer but a rainy humid

period is THE worst.

good to hear the temps went down and the air has cleared. I've haven't really paid much attention to the barometer, but it seems those changes really effect me the same way. I know that humidity and heat make life difficult for me. When they both gang up on me as they have done this summer, it is down right devilish. Hope the your barometer changes the best way for you. Winter is supposed to start early and end late with plenty of snow. We don't get snow where I live so I hope we get plenty of rain. Be good 2U
