I was born and raised in Southern California but moved to South Carolina in December. I guess the Southern California sun wasn't enough to ward off my MS 😄

I guess not huh? 😒🙃 I lived a few years in Cali. My oldest was born in San Diego.💕 I loved living in Alameda tho! But that was a WHOLE NOTHER lifetime ago!😂🤣😂

It is definitely greener here since it is not a desert. I work in Charlotte, NC so still have to drive in traffic and the only thing cheaper here is housing so not the easier living I was hoping for. I also miss my HMO insurance. Paying my deductible and the 25% of the medical bills for my PPO is quite expensive. But all in all I like it better here. People are friendlier and not so materialistic.

You are close enough to head to the NC mountains for a cool weekend break. It's warmer this week, but only been around 70 before that.

I booked a long weekend in Lake Lure first weekend of October for my 50th. Plan to go to Asheville while we are there 😁
