Hi I’m ssdw1958 I was diagnosed with MS in 2004 I knew something was not right for at thes 9 years until I demanded something be done to let me know what was going on in my body. That is when I finally found out. I had MS

I know what you all are going through.

What is this disease, why don’t these doctors give me something to get rid of it etc.....

Well a good majority of these doctors don’t have a clue what this disease is all about. And the other majority are trying there darndest to help us to deal with it. Yes they put us on one drug that helped some people and to find out where that 1%that is allergic to it.

When I found out I was glad to find out I had something that could be fixed boy was I wrong about that one. What I am trying to say is don’t feel ignored by your doctor they are trying to help us. But remember when you go to see them you have your list of questions you have, your list of things that are working and things that are not working. And make sure you write everything thing down be it a good thing or bad thing.

And also remember everyone here are going through the same thing.

With me I am a the point I am retired not that I want to be I use my rollator in the house and a wheelchair when I go out it’s just makes life easier.

Keep smiling be happy and if you ever need someone to take too or vent your anger too we are here. Oh by the way I live in Massachusetts and it’s going to be very HOT keep cool ice packs will you they will be your friend and my friend. Bye for now.

Thanks it’s a hard time when someone tells you that you have MS it’s like getting hit in the gut

Not that I have been hit in the gut but I’m sure you know what I mean

Yes we will but as you know some days you just want to find a whole and hide the sad thing is I’d never get out of that whole without help. So I think 🤔 I’ll just stay where I amLOL!!!
