The picture was taken through the rings of Saturn. The picture is called Pale Blue Dot. Can you see the tiny white dot in the ring at the top of the picture? That is the earth. Makes me feel real small. If there is a God, then she did excellent work on the universe. Have a marvelous day. Kiss the kids. MsGelfling

MsGelfling ... I saw a talk by astronaut Terry Virts not long ago. I think you would enjoy his photos taken from space. Obviously his vantage point was unique but he is a skilled photographer and took some of the most amazing photos I've ever seen. He has published them in a book called 'View from Above'.
