With MS, sometimes change is sudden and drastic enough to notice right away. But sometimes it creeps up on us so slowly that we don’t even realize it’s occurring.

The Not So Sudden Changes of MS

This was a great review on changes 🤷🏼♂️👍🙏🐾😉 Ken

Well written article. Thank you for posting. For those of you that don't know my history, less than 20 months ago I was a long distance bicyclist, riding 150-200 miles a week. I rode with friends 40+ miles on the morning of June 28, 2016. That was the last time I rode a bike. From 8:30 PM on June 28, 2016 when my lower back was itchy, burning to 18 hours later, was numb from the ribs down and could barely walk, had spent 6 hrs in and ER, then my orthopedic doc, then the search was on to find an answer. Slowly, I improved with Steroids and swimming. Since then, as the article says, slowly my mobility, balance and brain functions are changing, not so I notice, but my friends notice and my husband notices and quietly does more and more for me. That's life with MS. I am blessed that the decline is slower than most, and that I am a member of this forum, for you all have been a blessing and saving grace for me. To know that I am not alone in this journey keeps me pushing to be helpful to you and appreciate all of you! Lynn
Thanks for posting this article. Though I don’t want to dwell on my symptoms constantly, it may be important to keep taking notes on changes that happen gradually and subtly so we can evaluate our DMTs.
