Funny and true....
Yep. This has been one of the hardest parts of MS for me. I almost never feel up to intimacy and most days I don’t even want to be touched because I’m in pain
My husband loves shaved legs but it is rare that I want to use my rationed energy to get that task completed....
Diva1976 thank you, so true, blessings Jimeka 🦋
WOW that's me. I took the time to blow out my hair last night. Not blow dry, blow out. 3 different hair brushes etc. I can't believe I used to do that every other day. I still want to be a girly girl.
Yeah me too! It just don't happen everyday!
That is funny, but unfortunately my femininity is gone... (sigh)
Diva1976 Hit the Nail on the head! I'm still all that I ever was in my dreams and in my thoughts. We still have "Date Nights" with good intentions. Here's to the men that love us as we were and how we are now. Our men, our lovers have problems at times too. We are blessed to have a mate through the good times and not so good times.
Yes most definitely! My spouse has loved me through this madness. Support of someone is needed to help us through it! I surely reminisce alot. I always say i use to do that! Even the simplest thing as walking. A man or woman will fly passed me. I look and say i use to be able to walk like that.
Yes this is so true. It made me cry to remember the way things used to be and the way they are now. But thank God for loving and understanding husbands.
Diva1976, it's Fancy1959. Wow, whoever wrote that story must of also been battling a monster of her own! I swear, taking a stupid shower, drying off so I can attempt to get dressed completely drains me! (Do you also hate when your clothes simply battle you at every turn and refuse to go because your skin is still damp? Well I've discovered a secret! I use my blow dryer to finish drying off and to get rid of the damp feeling and it works like a charm and only takes a minute or two!)
One moment the story made me want to cry as it could of been written about me and the next, it made me want to laugh! Thanks for sharing. Great post! It's good to hear from you again! We have missed you. Take care until we speak again and remember together we are stronger!
