Hi I took Tesfidara for 3 years I did break out with a rash but that was all, neurologists Took me off of it he said he didn’t want me on it that long he used that word “OLD”

Because I will be turning 60 years old in two years.

Callyo60, it's Fancy1959. No I've never been on Zinbryta, but I was on tecfidera for two and a half years. I had just slight flushing three or four times while on tecfidera but no other negative side effects. What did happen on tecfidera was about 2 years in I started to noticed an increase in disability. I had to get off tecfidera because I progressed from relapsing and remitting MS to secondary progressive MS while on tecfidera. I went back to to Tysabri and wound up being on it for about two and a half years total when I started having issues with it and I got scared and got off. I have landed on the new therapy Ocrevus and I'm only about 10 weeks in and I'm hoping that I see major Improvement in the next year or so. Only time will tell. So I'm not much help there here with info about Zinbryta.

What I did want to do was to welcome you to this chat room. I don't recall having spoken to you before but if I do just chalk it up to my MS Noodle brain! I wanted to let you know you are now part of our extended family. You have found an awesome chat room where it is safe to come ask questions, voice concerns, or simply speak to someone who truly understands what you are going through. This chat room is also full of some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever met. I hope you get more answers from others in the chat room about your question. Please don't be a stranger and keep us informed of how things go with you. Until we speak again take care and remember that together we are stronger!

Hi Callio60, I read a lot about Zynbrita and I was about to atart the medication, but something happened that changed the picture, not related to the medication. To me is great and very efficient. I have "tons" of papers research about Zynbrita even before being approved. Works well in the brain and its a good anti inflamatory product. But your doctor de decides whats is better for you. I took Tecfidera before also, did not work well.
