So I had my appointment with the MS specialist today, and it went well. Still don't have a diagnosis, she is scheduling EEG and lumbar puncture. Said a I have abnormal about spots on my brain and that it could be any number of diseases. But it was a good experience. Just wait now for testing

Thank you for the update. As to the lumbar puncture, I had one about 20 years ago and had the headache afterward, so I dreaded my most recent one. The doctor who performed this one wasn't much for bedside manner, but his technique was wonderful, and I had NO headache afterward! I pray you have a good experience with the testing process and that you get clear results. No MS would be a great answer!

A spinal tap will help in finding if it is MS also MRI on brain and spine if you have a spinal tap do not bend down just lay down for about three days if you don't you will have a headache the size of your house.

Well it's something you don't want but you need to know what it is. I had to take two MRI's the doctor and I were standing in front of the light stand and was looking at the X-ray and he was telling me what all the white marks were then he said that I had MS
I started to slip down I started to pass out. Then he caught me and helped me to a chair and had someone got me a glass of water. Then ask me if I was with anyone I said no I was by myself. He then then set up an appointment for a spinal tap and told me I need to have someone with me for that.
But once I got to the car I'm really not sure how I got there Once I got to the car I called my husband and told him I had MS I lost it I started crying and I also at that time I knew not to much about MS.
I will never forget that moment.
Quite an introduction to MS, ssdw1958 . I'm sorry. 🙁 But I don't understand why you need a spinal tap now. It sounds like you've been diagnosed based on your MRI.

I don't Need a spinal tap I was saying that from the blog I was answering I had a spinal tap to diagnose me.

Kvw_Zoe. Good luck on your spinal tap. I had no trouble with mine but I was already in the hospital and had a really good Dr doing the procedure. Praying you finally get some answers but that it's not ms.
