Today is the day that I begin testing, making sure my white blood counts are not decreasing, my liver isn't being effected negatively, etc. Please pray for me that my medication (Tecfidera) is doing what it needs to do for me and that is all. Thank you in advance for your prayers!!!!

Royjr Thank you! So far so good but I think that I have developed a serious case of motion sickness as a result of the medication. The only change in my life is my medication but now I get sick after being the passenger in a car ride and plane rides are now horrible for me. This past weekend, at every stop while riding with my aunt, I had to throw up. I do my best to take my meds on a full stomach as suggested so as long as I'm the one driving and not flying, I've had no nausea issues at all.
Thank you greaterexp ! Yes, Dramamine does help. It doesn't happen with every passenger car ride but I think that I should take it when I know that I'm not going to be the driver just in case. I'll definitely keep everyone informed on my test results.
Thank you mrsmike9 ! Wow, were there any lasting effects from the drop in your white blood count? When you were changed to Aubagio, did your white blood count increase?
There were no lasting effects. All I had to do was stop the tecfidera and my white blood count got better. Of course, then I was switched to Copaxone and was allergic, so THEN went to Aubagio. That's why I like it because it doesn't bother me!
Taylorsmom Sorry you get nausea on the Tecfidera. Praying that your WBC remains high enough. Have you been having any infections? My neuro considers both infection rate and lymphocyte count in determining if I can stay on GIlenya.
Thank you Iona60 ! No, I haven't had any infections. We've never discussed any infection rates as a determining factor of me staying on the Tecfidera or not. This will be added to my list of questions for my next visit.
Prayers being sent your way. Supposed to get my 6 month blood work done this we but with siatica pain this week I don't think it's going to happen until it gets better. Keep us updated.
