School starts tomorrow which means I go back to work as a substitute. Already starting the year out with a near four week maternity leave to cover for.

I use to work in the school system that first we can be very tiring what grade level are you mine was kindergarten, I was a paraprofessional, I loved my job. Well you can start it out having the children helping you they will think that's how it is suppose to be. Just take It slow and steady. And smile a lot you can do it.

Good luck to you have a great year!

I only sub in Jr. high, which in my area is 7, 8, and 9 grades. This job is US history for 8th grade and Geography for 9th grade.

You can't just say you only sub in Jr. high that is a big thing especially in the beginning of the year. You are a strong person. I hope your first day is a good 😊 day!

I meant only as in I refuse to sub anywhere else! 😀 Elementary is exhausting and high school kids scare me!

It is a good thing! Good for my body and brain to be busy especially during the winter months. Long term sub jobs can be hard but rewarding too.
