I have complained to my Primary Doctor about the Needle and Pins feeling that goes down My arms if I reach to Stretch. I am tired of it. It goes from my Shoulder down into my hands into my finger tips. I don't like complaining to My Doctors because they give you that look that says quit being a Baby, or they do asks are you taking your Meds right? I don't take my Meds the way they describe them because they all make you sleepy and Dizzy. I have the worst kind of insommia so I rather let My Drugs put Me to sleep. I mentioned to one of the MS Assistant about the Needle and Pins, and He made Me feel like a fool. Usually you get Needles and Pins in your limbs if you lay on your arm or leg too long. The Assistantsays to Me, "You can't get Needles and Pins in both of your Arms, that's impossible. Okay, I know that makes sense, but this is really happening to Me. Do anyone out there know what I'm talking about?

Pins and Needles

Foots yes have the pins and needles in both legs, sometimes feels like bee stings!! Is your doctor a MS neurologist specialist? They sorta understand but stilll won't believe all our symptoms are MS. Too many in chat room have same symptoms for it not to be MS!! Hope and pray you find a good doctor.
Foots ,
I don't have pins & needles per say but what I have is a constant feeling in my left foot that feels like my foot is asleep. If a person with MS can have other symptoms such as numbness/tingling/burning sensation ... why not pins/needles.
I think you/we know our bodies the best and we have to be proactive in our own health care. If it doesn't feel right, then it probably isn't.
I hope you find someone who will listen to what you're saying and not dismiss your concerns.

I always have pins and needles in my feet, ankles, up to my knees, and hands. It eases up a bit, but then is back. I also know what you mean about the med makes you dizzy and sleepy. I take those pills at night when I'm going to bed. That way it helps me sleep, and doesn't interfere during the day. It doesn't sound like you are seeing/asking the correct doctor. My neurologist knew exactly what I was describing to him.

Foots I'm so sorry that that your MS asst said that to you.😡 If you ever feel that you want to change your Neuro. Give mymsaa.org a call.

Yes. Pins & Needle sensation is a MS symptom. It depends on the severity and cause. Neuropathy. .... I would go to MYSSA or NMMS and learn more about MS symptoms. You should not feel bad or foolish to discuss any of your symptoms to primary doctor, neurologist or a MS assistant. They should show more understanding and compassion. You may need new doctors. So far all the things you have brought up in your post are not uncommon. You are not crazy or imagining them. Ice pack may help. And there are medications to deal or help with these issues. But I haven’t one that totally rid of me of my pins/needles. Maybe lessen. And if you feel you are getting side-effects from your medications then you should be able to honestly talk to your dosage. If you take your medications improperly that defeats the purpose of them and may be the cause of your mood swings. Be courageous. This is your body. Advocate for it. Look up your meds and learn about them. You may need a better team of doctors for your care.
appu ICE PACK onalong your body until it calms down. She who must be obeyed uses cooling around the carotid. Underarmpits and the general area depending on the severity. The aim is to cool the blood flor. try it and see if it works, no tablets, bag of frozen peas works well, and is tasty as we ll
