Pins & Needles

Hello All. Still getting the hang of this MS thing 😏. My legs and feet have had the constant pins/needles for 3 months now. I was told that this will never go away..??? Will be starting a new medication within the next month but am guessing it won’t help with this? Sucks.

I had pins and needles in both legs and arms but thru the years on DMT’s and my pain pump seems to be pretty much under control. Stay positive 👍🙏😉 Ken 🐾 🐾

Many of the symptoms I had with my first relapse either went away or have lessened in intensity. I hope that happens for you, too.

apply icepacks to your legs, Femoral artery I think might cool the blood going into your legs. It may calm down the heat in your legs. She who must be obeyed uses it when she has ms itch (not its real name) it helps but takes a little time

That’s not necessarily true and no, medications are not “suppose” to help. However, if you are significantly inflamed or stressed, and if the drug or if mentally coming to terms with your brain damage reduces this a little, you may feel less discomfort. I usually accept “the new me” 3 months after a relapse, although I’ve had mild improvements after 6 before. I’ve also had the experience of almost no MS symptoms from a medication for a while, which is neat...but it also tells me I’m one of those uber sensitive types that would benefit from consistent lifestyle changes 😬

You find your way with MS, just keep moving forward 💐

Hi Trulytricky

I was diagnosis with MS in 2017. I started having pins and needles in both feet and legs feel off and hurt when I walk. My Doctor put me on Lyrica 100 MG Caps 2 times a day. It took out the pins and needles.

I been on Lyrica for three years now. I am starting to get the pins and needles again on and off if I rub the bottom of my feet then it goes right away. I also have a balance problem

from MS which I use a Caine which also allow me to control balance and allows me to

walk normal.

The Lyrica working good for me. I know how you feel, pins and needles in your feet SUCK!
