That is how I feel when I get into my sister car. She refuses to turn on the air in the car saying the wind is blowing and will cool you off. REALLY.

When she lived in Cali she never turned on her air. It was always in the 100's. She walked around in her underwear saying it will get cool at night. My mother made her turn her air on when we would visit and told her she would pay the bill.

rjoneslaw We have put a remote start on our car, so that the A/C will cool it off before we get in. It's the only way I can go anyplace by myself in FL.

Yesterday it was 96 degrees and 88% humidity in central Fl. I had to go out in the morning and got too warm. The house stays at 72 degrees all year. I didn't get over the fatigue until after I slept for the night. Even inside with a/c on I was too weak to function.

Today is better but if I just stay in, I'll never get anything done! Better to take the fatigue and weakness than to just stay inside ALL the time. I just have to judge the advantages and perils and make the best decisions I can.
