Two new blessings

Last Thursday we welcomed two new members to our family!!! 😄

Our Number 4 son's wife gave birth to two sweet little boys. She was right at 35 weeks. The older twin ( Kerric) was born around 1:15 am and weighed in a bit over 5 pounds and younger one (Kedric) arrived around 10:30 am. He was about 3.5 pounds. He needed a bit of help breathing and is still small m, but is doing well. Mom and the older baby went home Sunday, and they hope to bring the other guy home next week, as long as he's eating well.

Unfortunately, due to the heat and the distance between our homes, I might not get to see them before late fail. Thank goodness mom is a Facebook fanatic. 😎😉. Tons of pictures and videos.

Thank you. As of yesterday, the bigger baby has gained back to his birth weight, and the little dude is holding his own.

I need to check on her today.

She wisely made a visitor schedule well in advance of her delivery ... and put it out on Facebook. Visitors by appointment only, and in short time spans. Hubby and her hubby really deep cleaned the house the week before she delivered so she wasn't met with a disorganized house when she finally got home. And their older two are in day care right now so she'll have a few more hours to rest and recuperate before baby number two comes home.

Eleyne92 , I am so happy for you! Yes, a double blessing. I hope your younger grandson is able to join his twin and the rest of the family soon. I know you can't wait to meet and hold them in person! 💕

I hope the little guy is able to come home soon too, although I imagine his mom is a bit relieved she isn't having to manage two tiny ones at the same time. Gives her a few days to continue her recovery.

I'll be happy to see both of them. I'm not the most stable at holding little people.

Thank you. They're hoping to bring the little guy home next week. Reports say he's eating well. They have 4 boys now ... and I'd put money on them trying for a girl before they call their family complete.

We have 8 grandchildren now ... 5 boys, 3 girls and another coming in December. I really need to update my birthday calendar. Lol

Wow! How precious! Aren't grandchildren the greatest invention? I hope everyone continues to do well. Enjoy them, even if it's via the internet for awhile!

I enjoyed raising mine, but much as I'd like to play a more active role with the grandson, distance and my abilities preclude that. Definitely thankful for the internet.

Most of my grandkids are in the Midwest, and I'm on the west coast area. I'm grateful that I get daily updates from my daughter and at least occasional pictures from my son. The internet does help!
