You may be aware that there is a supposed risk to accumulation of the gadolinium contrast in the brain with repeat MRIs
This study reports no significant harms (a good thing😊)

Thank you erash ! Those of us who get repeated MRIs every year will be relieved by this news. Thank you for looking out for those of us who don't have medical backgrounds also!!!
Thanks @erash! I'm relieved to know this since I've been having MRI's every 6 months or so because of my PML risk while on Tysabri.
Great news! Since hearing about the supposed risk, I felt I should consider delaying future scans as long as possible. Thank you so much for posting the link!
My new Neuro does not order contrast at all in the mri's he orders. This is the first doc/Neuro that I have ever had that did it this way (been having mri's for 10 years now due to ms with various different neuros ordering them). He says it builds up in your system so he doesn't order it. Says that if the scans showed/didn't show something he would order another mri with contrast. The mri technician was surprised that it was not ordered when I went for my last one in April.

Thank you erash. How do you retain all this medical information, you are like my sister, she never stops learning. Blessings Jimeka🦋 🌈 👍
I had no idea erash ! Thank you so much for the info☺ No wonder I'm procrastinating so bad about making my appointment.😁

Hi Erash, I read an article also about FDA evaluating all componentes of the MRI gadolin image and residuo last in the brain.
