This is so true. Why is it that most settle for someone else's opinion? Is it because one thinks they know more about you than you do? So many of us get sick and think that our care doctors are on our side. Some do care but IF a cure comes out, what will these so called specialist do for a living?

The healthcare arena can be dangerous. You always need to be your own best advocate and hopefully have other supportive advocates (family, friends, and sometimes healthcare providers) on your side 👍

G'day, Now that is food for thought. In a more cynical moment I have to take everything a medico says with a grain of salt doesn't it. I guess that is where u really have to be your own BEST advocate.
