So my friends what shall we talk about? How about what we CAN DO! Something that you that MS HAS NOT STOLEN FROM YOU?

For me... It has yet to make me forget all my memorys. My friend came by and we looks up pictures of Alaska, where we both lived at the same time lol! I remembered so much!😁😁

What a great idea Jesmcd2 ! Happy you enjoyed reliving those Alaskan memories. Sometimes I need the pics to remind me of things...but that could be due to my age and not MS. πŸ˜‰

I had to stop and think about this. I have many things MS hasn't taken from me. It's hard to come up with only ONE thing, but I guess the greatest is the faith I have that I will always be loved and be able to love. And that's a JOY no one and nothing can rob me off.

Happy new beginnings to you and all my other friends here. I am thankful for you all. πŸ’•Dawn

Though I fear what it may do in the future, this disease has not taken away my ability to laugh, nor has it stolen my joy in my kids and grandkids. It has not reduced my faith that God will be with me and my family through everything.

Great post idea Jesmcd2

MS has not taken away my ability to find good in others or beauty in the world.

And actually, since I've been forced to slow down and smell the roses πŸ’ I've noticed more good and beauty 😊

It has not taken my ability to find good in others either erash and it has not taken away my ability to see the wonder in nature.

jesmsd2 Ah Jes, thank you for reminding me of who I am. MS has not stolen my joy at seeing clouds, approaching storms, rainbows, dappled sunlight or hearing bird song or coyote chorusing; it cannot take away my pleasure in hearing all sorts of musics (including children's laughter); it cannot take away the memories forged through more than three quarters of a century of living in so many places. I am physically impaired, yes; when there is too much stress, my brain goes into sleep mode, yes: that isn't going to change for the better in the years left to me. BUT the essential me is still the same: among a list too long for this post, I still have a passion for the truth, I still have a sense of humor, I still find joy in my surroundings. Happy New Year!

MS took my ability to walk a straight line, I can't run, I can't see right (lots of double vision), but I'm still me and if I work hard at it, no one knows I'm a sclerotic. Love life. Don't let the disease get you down. You have MS, it doesn't have you. Take care
