Great! I won't attempt portraits either. You are so daring! Keep it up.

I've done some mural size scenery too. Really enjoyed working on the giant canvases.

My poor parents were given them as gifts and still have them hanging in there home. I keep telling them that they can take them down now 😜

I wanted to do a mural on my wall when I was 12. My brilliant dad connected 2 white window shades, stretched them out down one whole wall and said "Have at it." It was so fun. I painted a train coming around a mountain from a Natl Geo magazine photo. Like he knew in advance, I never finished it.

My husband painted several murals on our daughter's wall when she was growing up. Each time she would outgrow one, we'd take a picture of it, and he'd paint a new one.

So your husband is an artist too? Wow!

Yes. He's the real artist between us.

Do you critique each other's work? Or work together on anything?

He critiques my work when I ask him. Usually, he'll say "It's not done yet, work on this part." It's very helpful.

And here I was beginning the think you were a redhead. 😉

You've done a good job evoking emotion in and through all three of these. So with portraits and scenery done in the past, will your "cog fog" be your first abstract?

And your parents are proud of you! 💕

No, the"cog fog" painting is abstract only in that it twists reality and that I'm less able to stay in the lines 😉 not in a true abstract sense and I've DABBLED in all sorts of stuff...

Erash, where did you learn to paint so well? Obviously it's a talent you have, but did you ever take classes? You are amazingly talented. Kelly
