Waiting list times can differ from hospital to hospital. You should be sent a letter telling you how long you'll have to wait, or you could try asking your G.P. If your G.P can't help, you need to find out which Consultant you've been referred to, where the surgery will be performed (dept and hospital), and contact the appropriate dept.
