Finding an effective treatment for acne

Hi everyone!!!!

I'm conducting a survey into how acne is perceived and the beliefs surrounding treatment for it. The results will go towards enabling those with acne to have an easier time when selecting an effective treatment for it. There is a bit more information about the survey below:

Although neither life-threatening nor physically debilitating, acne can severely affect social and psychological functioning. Patients with acne often show anxiety, depression, and poor self-esteem, reporting a poor quality of life that often mentions limitations in their lifestyle and in relationships amongst family and peers.

There are many treatments available for acne. However, due to misconceptions (resulting from the lack of information) and at times the dismissive attitudes of either health professionals or the patients (as social and psychological factors brought on by acne are often not considered); finding an effective treatment for acne often goes amiss.

This survey therefore aims to explore your insight and experience of acne regarding past treatments and information you received towards helping your symptoms. The gathered responses will go towards developing an option grid, providing the necessary information that is often overlooked when assessing types of treatment offered along with their effectiveness.

If you have any further questions or would like to find out a bit more about the survey, please feel free to visit our Facebook page at:
