Possible corn or veruca?

Can any one help with this diagnosis.

I've had verrucas in the past, and I'm not convinced my issue is a verruca. I'm wondering if it is a corn, what do you think?

It's painful to walk on .

Hi, it looks exactly like the corn I have under my heel. Mine hurts to walk on too, I’ve had it a while, I soak it in the bath then gradually pick the core out, bliss 🤣 it used to come back pretty quickly but now over the months it has gotten significantly smaller and has virtually gone. I didn’t want to pay for a chiropodist to come to my home ( housebound) so I just took care of it myself. I don’t have diabetes, if you do it’s important to get your feet checked I gave read. Hope yours improves soon, they are pretty painful little things.

Thanks for your reply, I've bought some special plasters so hoping that will help get the core out. Never had an issue with corns before so a whole new ball game to me!
