After showering, I suffer from extremely pruney hands...
They're so sore that I cannot move my hands until they've "smoothed" back out, usually about 30-45 minutes after.
If I try and move my hands when they're wrinkly it feels as if my palm is going to rip open. It is such a weird but painful feeling.
I shower really quickly, less than 5 minutes, so it's not as if my hands have been soaking for a long time. I've tried switching the products I use in the shower incase they were causing a weird allergic reaction, but alas there has been no change.
Does anyone suffer from the same thing? I've had a google and can't find anything similar.
TIA x

have you looked at Raynaud’s Phenomenon I wonder? This causes pruney hands with exposure to cooler temperatures or just change in temperatures and is painful when the circulation is reduced and then recovers. versusarthritis.org/about-a....
Well there’s Raynaud’s and there’s Raynaud’s and for a minority it can progress to be secondary to a rheumatic autoimmune disease such as Sjogren’s or Scleroderma - both of which I have. Hopefully not for you but it’s worth watching and asking a GP about. 😊
