What is this smooth red bit??

What is this please? It does sometimes go scaly so i put moisturizer on. It is very silky after a shower though. Sometimes my leg gets itchy but not that red area. I get bruising randomly in the big veins by the knee joint sometimes and have no clue how they got there. Any ideas? I know its bit an allergy rash in only allergic to penicillin and latex

Have you consulted a doctor at all? S/he will probably want to know how long it has been there and have there been any recent changes.

Hi there. I just joined the group mainly cuz I ended up here and saw your post which I felt inclined to make a comment about it. It has been quite some time ago but I had the same red skin thing on the side of my leg right below the knee area and one on top of my foot. Both about the size of a quarter with the outside edge slightly darker. I never did find out what it was really even after going to the dermatologist. My skin was itchy around the area of the spots and the skin inside the spots kinda looked thin and wrinkled. I rubbed a peeled banana on them cuz somewhere I read it was something to do with potassium. It worked... I think . Or they left on there own lol. Please let me know if you find out what it is. Thank you
