Help with my ecezma

I've been suffering with eczema my whole life, as I've gotten older it seems to be getting worse. My GP just prescribes me steroid creams and barrier creams, they work for a little while but then stop. Any advice on what I should do? Nothing I've tried over the years seems to work for a long period of time

Hi Loretta I am in the same horrible position, not helped by adjuvant breast cancer treatment of tamoxifen and letrozole that strip oestrogen from the body. So my skin is very dry just to compound the eczema problem. I use Doublebase Gel for routine care and have 3 different corticosteroid creams, from 1% over the counter up to Dermovate for bad flares. Now under care of dermatologist for it, so push your GP for a referral.

Try cutting out all dairy products from your diet - milk, cheese, butter, yoghurt, cream etc, etc, including anything which contains any amount of them (which can include bread). After a month you should know if this is helping or not.
