Wart? Have had one on each side of my hand/wrist for a bit now since last year. Stayed the same size. They are smooth, no redness, clear inside. They remind me of a blister but I won’t pop them or anything, don’t want to spread it. I wash my hands like crazy (my hands sometimes will start peeling) but I try always moisturize. Now I’m started to see them come up on my fingers, Just slightly raise. I’ll feel a slight itch but I won’t scratch my hands. It’s making my anxiety go nuts.

Wart?
Hi Kdurk. Hopefully this may be of some interest to you. Some 3 years ago I had a wart on the right nostril. The specialist removed it by freezing it, but said that it might return. It did, 2 weeks before a holiday. The main online advice was to cover it with silver backed duct tape (it must be the silver backed duct tape), which I did. 10 days later it had disappeared, and has not returned. Unfortunately, your predicament is not as simple, and my advice is to see your doctor asap. The longer you leave it the worse it will get, as I doubt whether any over the counter cure is possible. Furthermore, it may be more serious than just a wart, so the longer you delay the more serious it may become.
Best of luck with either a cure or surgical removal whichever is necessary

Dear Kdurk,
I wouldn't worry, too much, about the 'long term' Warts but the new- possibly Spreading- ones could be a Worry. I get, seemingly Endless, skin tags, warts, 'dry' blisters along with, all manner of, 'Strange' growths. My 'lovely' Dermatologist has removed a few Skin Tags, however she says that 'unless they become a Problem, it is probably best to leave them'. I have had Two, very odd, skin growths removed- One Wasn't Cancer, the other Was.... But it WAS Completely removed. That was a few years back now and All, subsequent Checks have been Negative.
If you are Immune Suppressed and, I suspect that you are, then the Wart Virus, that 'normally' Lives on the skin- and to most is harmless- starts to 'invade' your epidermis. I have 'Running Warts' under my skin, which sometimes 'erupt' into the 'Full Blown' type.
All that said I Would, if I were you, get this Checked Out, just in case there IS 'Something Else' going on. There was a 'Post', somewhere on HU, not long ago- where someone who often got Ganglions (fluid under the skin), which he treated by 'Dropping A Book' on them, was trying to do the same to an 'Arthritic Swelling'... I think all he got, apart from a 'Telling Off' from his Doctor, was a sore ankle- from continuously 'Belting' it, with a book!
So even if you 'know', the Problem, Do see your Doctor/ Consultant Kdurk.
