Wart: i have a wart on my face that is on my mole... - MY SKIN
Wart
Hi Sylvie
My first piece of advice is to see what your doctor thinks of your predicament. He may suggest removing both, but that is not what you are hoping for. Therefore I am sending a copy what I did to remove a wart some 2 years ago. Painless, quick and cheap. It may well solve your problem but I would strongly recommend seeing your doctor, as there may well be something more sinister there. I had a malignant melanoma remover 10+ years ago, and it was only discovered because I asked a doctor to check my back. And that was despite the fact that a doctor had done a similar check 3 weeks earlier
2 years ago a wart appeared on my nose. At first it was just a small one but it gradually increased in size and bled when I accidently caught it. As I going on holiday in 2 weeks time I searched the internet and found that the most favourable cure appeared to be covering the wart with ordinary silver backed duct tape. So I followed the advice and, to my great delight, the wart disappeared after 10 days and has not returned since. It is painless and cheap, and well worth a try. It worked for me (and many others judging by the internet info). My suggestion is to input wart removal in the internet address bar, and then decide whether to give it a try. I did, and was overjoyed with the result.
Hoping that this advice provides the cure, but please see a doctor. Better safe than sorry..
Best wishes

when you say you had it removed what did they do first to check it? Apparently they scrape it off they say.i have been sent to hospital to have it off on Monday and abit scary.
Hi Sylvia
The first attempt to remove the wart was in the doctor's surgery, and consisted of freezing (not scraping) the wart by numbing the area first and then inserting a syringe containing the freezing compound into the nostril/wart. It was more uncomfortable than painful, and afterwards the doctor told me that the wart could re-appear. Which it did. So I then used the duct tape remedy by covering the wart with (apparently it has to be silver backed) duct tape. This was entirely painless, and, 10 days later at the most, the wart had disappeared and, some 2 years later, it has not re-appeared.
As I am not a doctor I am not in a position to advise you what you should do. However, if I was faced with your mole/wart predicament I would opt for the operation, because hopefully the doctor will remove both the wart and the mole simultaneously. That would certainly be the best solution, especially if the mole is giving you some worry. Then, if the wart does subsequently re-appear, you could resort to using the duct tape alternative.
Whenever I have any inoculations or minor surgery I just close my eyes, lapse into a sort of dreamy semi-trance, and do not think at all what the doctor is doing. I just let him/her get on with it.
On one operation the doctor told me that if it hurts to let him know. I replied that if it hurts everyone within at least a 1 mile radius will know.
Do not be worried about the operation being painful, as mine was not, just uncomfortable.
Hopefully you will give me a feed back regarding what transpires.
Best wishes on Monday, Sylvia.
