What's this non-inflamed bump called?

Hello!

I've been trying to figure out what this specific type of bump is called. Though it's a little larger then a typical pimple it's very low and flat and not inflamed. Had it for a few years and it slowly got a little bit larger. Just trying to figure out the name of it so I can see what treatment options might be.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you!

Nancy

Dear nancygail,

Please DON'T 'take this' as Gospel but, this looks like, a Simple Cyst- a collection of fluid under the skin. These can slowly get Bigger, or Smaller or stay the Same BUT are not painful- unless you really 'pull them about'.

Personally I wouldn't Worry About this, especially two years on, but I would get it 'checked', as soon as possible- after this Corona Virus is over.

Take Care, of yourself, Nancy
