Polymorphic light eruption

Hi I have recently been told by my doctor that I have polymorphic light eruptions I have been researching it online but what I have come up on my body looks nothing like the pictures I have seen it has got to the point it is effecting my work, nothing the doctor prescribed me has worked, does anyone else suffer from this?

Was this diagnosed by your gp or a consultant. I had this for a few years, it drove me crazy, kept me indoors and I had to leave my job.

The only thing really works is avoiding the trigger - the sun. I know-it's very drastic.

There is a very helpful group on Facebook. As this is unusual there isn't a lot of information available. A lot of medics have never heard of it, let alone treated it. A few photo sensivity conditions are very similar.

I'll get access to my FB account and send you the groups to join if you are interested/ still looking for advice.
