Itchy arms neck

Fours days ago I woke with the horrible itch on my arm woke the next day and I had spread to my other arm and neck it hasn't stopped being itchy since then if work see this I will be forced to take time off until it goes which I can not do please help

1. Go see GP get referred to dermatology if necessary

2. Wear cotton only next to itchy bits, as soft as you can get it, with long 'floaty' sleeves or loose sleeves that don't touch your arms much. That's for your comfort and also hopefully can deal with work issues though not sure where you work.
