Hi Rand_Paul,

Having cosmetic surgery in another country is often risky. You do not always know how safe the surgery will be, and patients can sometimes experience post-operative complications, e.g. heavy bleeding or infections.

Post-operative complications can occur within a short period of time after surgery, but sometimes, not for several weeks. If post-operative complications do occur, your wife may have to pay a lot more for treatment; stay in the country where she has had the surgery for much longer; will be refused proper follow-up care.

Overall, it is much safer, and in the long-term often cheaper, to have a cosmetic procedure done by a reputable surgeon in your own country.

Michelle.

All i need to say is be sure to check out experiences of people who had done cosmetic surgery in India and then decide if your wife is really ready to go for it.
