Remove that makeup!!

livingwithpsoriasis profile image

After being away from the blogging scene for a long time, I have started to post again.

This is the latest post about removing makeup everyday before going to sleep. Makeup has a detrimental effect to our skin at the best of times and those with psoriasis have a higher chance of getting drier skin from not taking their makeup off at night, or whenever possible.

The article showed how not taking off makeup effected a woman with no skin conditions. It showed her face become redder and drier. Seeing as psoriasis patches are already dry and flaky, leaving on makeup can hinder the chances of it going away.

Taking off makeup is annoying at the best of times, but after reading the article it's made me not want to leave it on, no matter how annoying it may be.

Have a great day!!
