I have heard Dr Grayson say that he was working with someone who has. The most important thing is to accept things may or may not happen but it's better to live with that uncertainty than to live every day dreading what may happen. Please keep on with your progress and know that freedom from ocd is far better quality of life for us and our loved ones. It's so worth being stubborn and fighting for it!

I have similar struggles; I have had urges to do compulsions that I ignored, because I know I have OCD and figured it was just OCD...then turn out to be a big problem. It's hard because I'm very much on my own; whereas if I were married or had a family, I could just ask them if it was OCD or not, I'm all alone and have to guess whether my brain is being rational or irrational. I don't know how to cope with this myself, so am curious to hear what other people have to say. I am very isolated and have to fight whatever issue might come my way on my own, so it's very hard for me to say, "oh we'll see what happens". All around me are the results of me not being able to cope with the challenges I've got, so it's very hard for me to say if something happens I'll deal with it then.

My daughter always tells me if there is torture involved by resisting the compulsion, then it's ocd. Still we can always overcome that torture by being "all in" instead of avoiding it. We have to face the things that bother us head on and be more stubborn than the relentless ocd. Jesus paid for our freedom and we only have to stand for what we've already been delivered from over 2000 years ago! Keeping in mind the battle has been won for us makes it possible for us to be strong and stand! We are in this together!
