I was in Roger's partial hospitalization program for 6weeks for ocd/anxiety/depression. It was extremely rigorous and stressful but it got me back to a functional level. I do have to say that it was very fast paced for my some of my issues but I just had so many years of issues not addressed we had to cover what was impeding my life at the time so it was overwhelming for me to be there. However the program was a godsend and saved my life. The exposure and cbt therapy and art therapy was great! However I changed Insurance toward my transition to outpatient and had to play the waiting game and ended up just not going back. It was a bad move. Definitely finish until they feel you are ready for the next step. Happy to answer any questions!!!

Thank you so much. I may have some questions for you as I get farther along in the process. Right now I just have a phone intake interview in a week to see if I would qualify for help. I also am seeing if I could receive a grant since they don't accept my insurance (I am unemployed due to covid and get government funded insurance only right now). The program right now seems to be strictly virtual too because of the pandemic

Oh geeze. I was wondering how it would work during covid. Also, funny because alot of the exposure therapy would not be allowed nowadays with covid. I hope you can get into a program. It was expensive.

I also wish I had a person who had been through it before to talk to and ask questions so feel free!!

Sounds like it really helped with you! My teen daughter has received a referral for the OCD Anxiety/Depression residential program and had completed the virtual intake. However, I had some concerns regarding the ratio and the curriculum appears to not include ERP, just CBT therapy. What specific program did you complete while there? Congratulations on your success!

I was in the PHP Adult OCD and Anxiety program. They will add stuff based on other issues you have too like mood or trauma disorders. I can not imagine going through the program virtually. I needed the daily interaction with behaviorist and it was really important to be put into exposures physically. Here is a picture of my schedule
