Hi guys.I've had health anxiety for 15 years and I feel you anxiety and pain. I am going through a bad time( possible glaucoma and motorbike accident, 2 arms broken) and living alone, this is hard. Too much time to think. I am trying to do as much ERP as I can, also ERP.In my case meds also helps. Be strong, your mind is triking us,as OCD always does

I'm a nurse & had a patient once with 2 broken arms. It's very hard to feel so helpless & be so dependent. It also must be incredibly frustrating & infuriating. Hang in there, Gimi. You have my sympathy. Hugs!

Hello.

I completely understand the pain and anxiety associated with health anxiety.

This is, physically, an awful time for your body and therefore for your OCD as well.

Having too much time to think can already be a serious stressor. Combining that with the OCD brain can throw your life into a downward spiral.

I am glad to hear that you are doing as much ERP as possible in addition to taking medication.

OCD is always tricking us.

Be strong! Hang in there!
