Say, I had a tough week as my anxiety level went sky high on Tues and Wed as I had family issues/conflicts those days. My OCD took over and I felt worthless and did not think life was worth much anymore. And I have been successful in dealing with my OCD for the last couple of years as you might remember from my posts. However, OCD lies in wait to attack you again. How I got over it this time by talking the family issues out and I felt 100% better and my old self again. Talk therapy is very good and relieves stress. Stress is a nemesis for OCD.

I am really happy for you that you are much calmer inside and back to your normal functioning.

I agree and my spouse just dealt with almost a year and a half of an OCD attack. Thankfully to an outpatient program along with family support and faith he is doing much better. Any advice on helping him transition back to work (was off for 3 weeks!!).
