Hi. Sounds just like me when I am bad. However the chest pain eventually became more severe, constant and not going away. Sent to hosp to be found with severe gallbladder inflammation. When I eventually had my gallbladder out there was found evidence of chronic infection. After taken out CFS, shakes, neck and head pain and chest symptoms all disappeared for 3 months. However now am still getting similar bouts of pain starting in a really sudden tight chest pain flare, spreading down arm and often comes on when v.tired or migraine and fibro kicking off bad, e.g.premenstrually. Only difference is, is that it no longer cause shakes etc. Anyway I am being investigated for sphincter of Oddi dysfunction (which doesn't come up in goggle searches on chest pain) but seems to fit my symptoms and it may well have contributed to gallbladder problems. Try looking it up. However it is hard to diagnose: if like me blood tests won't show it. I am waiting for a Hida scan. Consultant is talking about a Botox injection into it to stop it going into spasm and not opening up when it should. Actually makes sense with fibro as it affects muscles etc and this is just another muscular valve in body reacting with fibro. Good news is it gives most plausible explanation of symptoms for me and i know it is not life threatening (so long blood tests clear of signs of gallbladder inflammation and pancreatitis) which they are for me now. Just extremely and suddenly painful when flares up (makes me dizzy and have to lie on front on floor till passes and do utmost best to relax as stress makes it worse). It's frightening if don't know why happening.
