Does anyone have inspiratory sighs? Tell me how you know if your breathing is going south. If I understand it the message from the brain is faulty in sending the signal to the lungs. Scary!

HiMy Sue's breathing has been erratic for a long time particularly when she I asleep.

Sometimes she could not breathe for 20 seconds which is very disconcerting..... But her oxygen levels are normal. One thing a body can't do is hold its breath for ever as the co2 levels rise and other systems come into play.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for responding. Every morning for hours I have this jumpy, odd sensation in my chest. My oximeter says I’m 94-96. Which is a couple points lower than it had been. I have not been dxed, but have sooooo many symptoms.
