Can I ask a question?

I’ve had referrals for many months to ENT and Opthamology but no date to be seen, as yet. Should my GP have mentioned MSA?

I would say yes. My eyes no longer track properly and this is apparently a quite common symptom of MSA. Good luck!

Hi

My eyes are hopeless. I wear prisms now but I still see double. I can't move my head and see at the same time. I can only see properly when my head is still but I think I have CANVAS syndrome rather than MSA c. I am still waiting for a definite diagnosis

Hi Helen,

I too have prisms and long/short sighted and my eyesight is deterioting as well. I googled CANVAS and again its a nuerological disorder. My symptoms straddle MSA c -p.

Hope it all goes well

Alec

I met a man on my Ataxia UK zoom course who had CANVAS.

Absolutely yes! No disrespect to Health Professionlas but MSA is almost new territorry to most. Its a different ball game all together i'd say.

Yes, GP should have advised them you have probable MSA,

I can make a list of about 30 different symptoms and 29 are obviously MSA related
