Hi Andy or is it Jack?!

Welcome to this super forum, where you are among friends and there are tons of people with a huge range of knowledge drawn from experience. No question is ever too big or small.

You have done well to find us so soon. I assume you have also found the MSA Trust - super resource for support groups, welfare and nursing advice and detailed information packs to help you and your family and friends adapt to this diagnosis.

Are you in the UK? What region if you don’t mind me asking? Did you, like many of us, start with a Parkinson’s diagnosis?

Balance issues are relatively common (I too have them). I’m a year on from diagnosis now and still adjusting in many ways. Everyone’s pathway is different, but we are all here to support you

Hi, do ask if there is anything you want help with. I was diagnosed 26/5/22 and found the first couple of months the hardest. Not a huge number of symptoms but emotionally hard.

Hi, so sorry you've got that diagnosis. My husband was diagnosed Dec last year and we're still working through the emotions, the loss and all the practicalities. We've found this forum really helpful and the MSA Trust too. Take care.Rosie

Hello AJ. I've just read Gill's comments and I can't add to them really...they are spot on. Welcome and so sorry you need to be here. Ask, shout, rant or have a little cry and there will be someone here to help.

Take care, Ian

Hello Andy. Are your balancing issues due to low blood pressure, ie have you been diagnosed with Orthostatic Hypotension ?

Hi Andy, no need to feel your facing this alone, this is a really helpful and supportive group I've found invaluable since my diagnosis of MSA-C in Nov 2022, having started with balance issues too. please ask anything you want to know. I'm 59 Yr old female (well, closer to 60, in November 😱🤣) living in South West of UK 🇬🇧 . Best wishes to you, be kind to yourself. 🙂
