Frustrating afternoon

This is not strictly about MSA, but I really need to off-load and the bottom line is due to MSA so here goes.......Has anyone found that they have trouble differentiating between numbers.. I found iwas and that it was worse than I thought

... I tried to call my cousin whose number was all 3s, 5s 9s,8s6s you know all the curly ones ... so what did I do----- well I called the 999 service didn't I!!!! One of these days they'll put me on a blacklist!!!😂

So in view of this I thought it would be sensible to change our mobile app to biometrics - sensiible it may be, possible it's not. After 1.5 hrs the advisor who was ' helping ' me suggested I call back tomorrow as I was probably on a duffs app. Uhhhhhhh

Then I finally got a call back from the hospital physio saying there's no need to continue this when he is home next week as he will never be able to walk again

My poor darling.

I know lots of people on here are in that position but iwas said inn such a bald way and every one has been so positive to date

Final straw.....just went in the bedroom to chase the dog off my lovely NEW cream and gold duvet and realised that his walker must have taken him somewhere very muddy this arvo.. 🥵😪

Keep smiling guys I'm sure there's a funny side to all this, I'm just having a hard job finding it today

Well Sue I can see ONE of the problems here and it lies firmly at the feet of the person who decided a gold and cream duvet was compatible with a canine domicile. SHEER MADNESS !

I've just got him lovely soft fluffy bed and thought he could be persuaded to sleep in that on the floor. I should have realised that couldn't happen...he's got 3 chews hidden in the pillows!!!!Suex

Hello Sue,

I think these frustrating days come around once in a while, and sometimes too often! Sometimes I exclaim at Jackie..Bl**dy MSA! I think MSA has a sixth sense so it knows when you are really well set up to get a kick in the teeth. Hang in there and keep posting!

Take care, Ian xx

oh dear! I am sure that you love that doggo! But really I thought they were supposed to be a comfort not the final straw!!

What a rubbish day. I’m sorry the Physio wasn’t more careful about their explanation of how they have assessed the situation, and the physio should know that there is more to managing life than walking! I hope that you get the support you need from the right place! You probably need a long term Neuro condition physio or a referral to the hospice team where they are more in tune with living with the condition.

I hope you have a better day and that he gets home safely soon.
