I just wanted to say thank you to the MSA trust and Severn hospice for helping us when we need questions answered, and for caring for him through out the horrible beast of a condition, Mark was unlucky enough to also have COPD. But he fought it all the way last year being told that we would lose him 4 different times but he pulled through.

But I'm sorry to say that on our wedding anniversary 1st March,2021 he had enough and lost his battle which he was up against he was 61.

What was the happiest day of our lives has also now become the saddest day of our lives.

Please keep up all your work to find a cure, and until then helping others on their fight against this condition.

Love, hugs and a ocean of tears love you Mark xx

Hi Tiaarose,

I am so sorry to read about the loss of your husband. He was a real fighter and I can sense your love and devotion in the words of your message.

I agree that it will be a happy day when a cure is found for this beast of a condition.

I send you my heartfelt condolences.

Helen xx❤

hugs to you. I lost my husband a week ago and it is utterly devastating. On top of such an important day too.

All I can say is take care of yourself and do things in your own time

Very sorry for your loss 🧡🕯️

I am so sorry to hear this but you must be proud of the way he dealt with his illness, for himself but for you as well.

I always say that I am only who I am because of who Geoff made me - a better version of me - and I carry him in me.

Wishing you comfort and support, and as many tissues as you need to wipe your tears.

Diane

Thank you all for your kind words. Mark always held his head high , had a lovely cheeky smile, and a lovely kind gentle personality. You dont always remember these sort of things when you're up against the wall fighting the beast, so I ask everyone please what ever is going on, on the worst day, when all seems dark and scary just take that moment to remember its the same person that you loved, laughed, hid behind the cushions with when you watched that scary film with, the one who looked at you and made your insides melt and your heart skip a beat they are still there and they feel more scared then you because they're not the same person they knew you fell in love with. It's the beast that is trying to take over and change them they are still there and as long as you laugh, smile, cry ,talk and hold each other when it gets frightening . Remember make each day count each day a memory to think and laugh about on the hardest days and take the time to say I LOVE YOU. xxxxxx
