Hi,

Thank you so much. I totally agree with you about those people whom are caring for those with MSA. For those people who have MSA, you truly are the bravest of the brave.

Thank you for your kind words vis1

You're right the MSA sufferers have the worst deal, the carers do the best they can to make life more pleasant for them.

I remember some time ago pushing my wife around a garden centre, it was a bit of a " down day " for us if you know what I mean.

We moved to one side to let a crowd of people past.

There was an old lady in the group and as she passed us she held my hand for a few seconds and smiled. It was as if she was saying " keep going dear "........I must admit she made my day :)

That's such a lovely story. Maybe that older lady gets around a bit...I was on the bus a few days after mum had died suddenly. I needed to go see to Dad (who has MSA-p). I was holding my head up with my hand and an elderly lady who was sitting next to me asked if I had slept ok. I gently said to her oh it's cos I have just had a bereavement. She held my hand briefly while the bus pulled up to the stop. Will never forget it. 🙂

Hello Kay..... you also have a nice story, that old ladies kind thought has stayed with me as well. She never spoke just held my hand and smiled.
