Is it really Bank Holiday?

Hello everyone. I was chatting to someone last Thursday who mentioned the Bank Holiday on Monday. Is it really a Bank Holiday was my exclamation...we had totally forgotten. Jackie tends to lose track of the days and so I've got into the habit of waking her up each day and saying. Happy Monday, Happy Tuesday etc, hopefully not on a Thursday or Saturday!

It's tempting to think that because of MSA and all the difficulties of life, every day seems to be the same but talking to retired friends they all seem to lose track of what day it is.

I hope you realised it's a Bank Holiday and have had an excellent day so far.

Take care, Ian

Hi Ian,

Thank you for your good wishes. The weather has been beautiful hasn't it. We had a picnic in the forest near a lake which was lovely. Just doing some gardening before settling down for the night.

I hope you and Jackie managed to have a good day.

With love

Helen

Hi Yanno It creeps up on you. We are shielding till end of June so in many ways one day is just like another. I am glad the weather is good and the weather makes conversation. Conversation I really miss now :( Hey ho though Hope you ok x

Hi there. Jackie and I are assuming we will be shielded for many months to come, sadly. Until there is a vaccine I just can’t see how we can mix with others in a busy environment - even at 2m intervals. We do what we can on Zoom, Skype etc...but it’s not the same as meeting face to face. Take care, Ian x
