Sponsor abseil

I am looking at doing an abseil down Spinnaker tower in Portsmouth later in the year. There is the option to do bulk option for charities. Just wondered if anyone has any family members also interested in doing it with myself. ??

Regards

Alison

Hello Alison. This sounds like great fun, do you know when you’re planning to do it? Will definitely sponsor you and would love to find someone to join you. Do let us have further information when you have it.

Take care, Ian

I think it will be early August. This will allow more time to get max sponsorship. Happy to negotiate times with anyone interested.

Sounds fun. Not for me though ,I get vertigo standing on a chair and at my advanced age that's not my sort of lunacy. I will sponsor you willingly though

I get vertigo in a lift Freda lol. But think I’ll be fine. I’ve been up the tower. X

I did wonder if one could do it in a wheelchair...but Jackie wasn’t over impressed at relying on others for a safe landing. Having said that in her active days Jax absailed down the sail of a sailing yatch just off the Isle of Weight and parachute jumped for charity. Ian x

What a vision that creates. Well done to her. This one is around 100m. I don’t mind on the end of a rope when I’m in control but if a plane is involved then I prefer to be belted in en route to a sunny location 😎.
