We have been given an opportunity to be part of a feature by East Mids today.
Anyone in the leics/Derby/Notts/Lincolnshire area who has MSA and is prepared to be interviewed in their own home on Tuesday 21st morning then please contact the MSA Trust asap. This is a brilliant chance for us to raise awareness.

In Norfolk, so cannot help. Hopefully someone can, it is very necessary. Just spent a night in A & E with John. Staff absolutely wonderful, but i do not think any had heard about MSA
Sorry to hear that you had a night in A&E. We often have to explain to people what MSA is. We always stress the Multiple Systems Atrophy otherwise people just assume its MS! We have also found it useful to have the MSA Trust leaflet, 'Guide to Multiple Systems Atrophy' to hand. Some health professionals, luckily not all, don't like to admit they haven't heard of it and so by offering the guide they can understand more without losing face.
Did you manage to sort out the respite care you were looking for? Hopefully you did and will be able to take advantage of it soon.
