l have ETV167F since 2015 - l have asked Heamotology for an update on Allele Burden . When diagnosed just after had aBMB which showed positive but weak. On receiving my latest blood results and being contacted by the Specialist Nurse l asked her latest result. I have a result of Mitochondrial M2 Ab <.05

Negative <4

Equivocal 4-6 and

Positive >6

Not happy she was unable to say what this meant. She said l could at next blood test have a Jak2 one taken

Can anyone tell me what the above reading relates to.

Thank you

I think that may be a liver test. Be sure to verify that as I am not sure.

Thank you Hunter l cannot as yet find out but want to get a second option my liver functions have seemed ok.

I asked Heamo for allele burden test to see re progression.

I only take aspirin and am asymptomatic

To be aymptomatic dosen't mean the progression stops, according to some hematologists.

Herrick, it is to to help diagnose primary biliary cholangitis, also sometimes called primary biliary cirrhosis in your liver. Your doctor suspects it, but your paremeters seem to be fine. Have you been drinking alcohol? Careful

Thank you for info. I asked haemo to test progression of Jak2 allele burden which he said he would do re increase and he did the test as you say, could be for primary cholangitis instead. I had my gall bladder removed in Nov.2024 and he was aware that l was having the op. Have been fine since. I will begetting a second opinion re E.T as do not get any feedback.
