Bananas fruit veg. Creamed my legs with pain creams, if that made sense. Walked around bedroom. Only now beginning to wear of. Hands have been good for a few days , no cramp but there turn is just around the corner.

While this could be something more minor, suggest that you not assume that it is. What you describe is also consistent with a more serious issue like a blood clot (DVT), venous insufficiency or a neurological issue. It could be any of a number of things but should be treated as an emergent issue. Suggest that prompt medical attention would be indicated, particularly if it does not clear up quickly. Even if it clears quickly, you should seek medical attention as soon as possible.

PVR Patient 14 years . I used to get severe cramp in front of legs (really bad) all times of day or at night especially, which would shoot me of bed doing all sorts of foot bending, stretching, until it subsided, previous doc's said take quinine drink. Also got on in my hands. Nothing! this went on for years (can't move fast enough at 80 at jumping out of bed) Then I was transferred to the new doc when my regular one moved, she is young and vibrant and full of new idea's. She put me on tablets of Quinine. My goodness the cramps just disappeared over night. I get them only occasionally, but not nearly as bad. But if yours is as bad as mine were, I suggest speaking to your doc about taking 1 a night, done me the world of good. Only my experience.

I also had a period of severe leg cramps at night. they were bad enough to wake me from sleep. In my case it was magnesium deficiency. It resolved when i went on a Mg supplement.

Some of the specifics mag123ben describes is concerning for a more serious issue. Hopefully, it is something minor but it does need prompt attention. It would be great if something like quinine or magnesium would resolve the situation. Hopefully, that will be the case.

For immediate relief, you might find that using a far infrared heating pad could be really beneficial. The heat helps improve blood circulation, which can alleviate the tension and swelling in your legs. It works deep into the muscle layers, promoting relaxation and easing the pain that cramps cause.

I‘ve been using the UTK far infrared heating pad for pain relief. It works really well for me and their website says that it works for cramps too.
