Pegasys : Hi to everyone I just have a question... - MPN Voice
Pegasys

Instructions say to store between 2 and 8°. Not sure what happens if too warm but I know when I was storing mine at the very bottom of my fridge I didn’t realise it was 0 degrees. My bloods stayed steady but when I moved it up to the middle of the fridge where it is exactly 5° my bloods started to come down. I would be very dubious about using the Pegasys after your experience. Can you check with the hospital pharmacist? They should know I hope
I would suggest contacting a specialty pharmacist or the manufacturer to be sure. I would assume that after 9 days with no electricity, the temperature in the fridge is too high for safe storage. Most likely, the Pegasys will have to be replaced.
We needed to travel long distance and looked up and found it could not be in fridged for longer than24 hours. Contact the hospital pharmacy who gave it to you as they will be best to advise you.
I asked the main company about how long it was safe out of the fridge and they came back and told me 24hrs is the limit out of the fridge.
Hi
This is the info I had from Guys who checked it out at the time I had accident leaving fridge door open all night
The Specialist Pharmacist Service refrigerator stability tool advises for a temperature range excursion of 8°C-25°C, the maximum time for excursion is 24 hours.
If it helps
