Hi All

Last time I inquired about where to get the Pegasus in Australia. Through this forum I came to where I can order and get it here. The company delivered in three days from order. Thank you all who let me know.

Now with venesection and injection once a month the results became v satisfactory. The platelets was 287 and Haematocrit was 0.45 on the last blood test in Dec. The Haemotologist was v happy with the results. This is the first time both satisfactory. Hence , he has recommended to continue once a month Pegasus 90 and without venesection requested to do blood test and see him in about four months time.

So far all other test results were satisfactory too. I will consult him in April 25.

I like to express my sincere thanks to all who assisted on this.

I like to take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas and happy new year.

Regards

Stoosh

if stopping the venisection and relying on Peg only it’s wise to get blood tests every week or two to check the Peg can do the job (ie keep Hct under 45)without the help of venisection, hopefully it will but for some it can take a while for the Peg to become effective enough to be venisection free,

Congratulations! Very glad you have such positive results getting access to peg and what peg has done for you. Would suggest blood test sooner than 4 months as you are new to peg and stopping venisection is a major treatment change. Best wishes to you. Stay safe.

I had initially monthly blood tests on peg and now on 6 weeks, but again it depends on your other blood data not just platelets and hct
